Project management the ICB way

The problem

A schedule means nothing on its own: the contract, the resources, the cost, the risks and the stakeholders all act on the programme, and the programme acts on all of them.

In practice

I see planning and control alongside contract management, resources and the people with a stake in the project — a report written for the project manager's next decision, not for the archive.
